Cumberland House / Jean Tweed Centre – Toronto (Heritage Building)

Regal was hired to provide design of mechanical and electrical systems for the heritage building in Toronto. Mechanical design includes adding a central air-conditioning system to meet the ventilation requirements of the building occupants and also to revise the existing kitchen exhaust system and the makeup air unit. Mechanical design also included revisions to the existing plumbing to suit the major upgrades.

Electrical design included electrical upgrades to the existing lighting, external lighting, power and upgrades to the existing fire alarm system.

Fire Station 424 – Toronto (Heritage Building)

Regal was hired to provide design of mechanical and electrical systems for upgrades to the existing fire station 424 built in 1972.  This heritage building is renovated to house offices and dormitory for public education staff.

Mechanical design includes adding a central air-conditioning VRF system to meet the ventilation requirements of the building occupants and also to revise the existing plumbing and fire protection system for the entire building.

Electrical design included electrical upgrades to the existing lighting, external lighting, power and upgrades to the existing fire alarm system. A high end public address system was designed and installed for the heritage building.
